Alibata is an ancient Filipino script that was written on bamboo and palm leaves. Published books in the 16th century described it as the way Filipinos communicated and wrote poetry. It dispels the myth that writing systems did not exist before the Philippines was colonized and proves the artist spirit thrived in our past.
