An archipelago is a group of islands amidst a body of water. On a map, it's a cluster of dots surrounded by blue. In the diverse sea of American culture, non-mainstream cultures also tend to be clustered and lost in the great melting pot. At Archipelago, we are redrawing that map, and spicing up the pot in a fun and creative way.

History
We are a Filipino-American family business that started with a desire to combine our creative talents and honor our heritage. As you'll see, our designs have a unique style and humor and although many of them are created for the Asian American community, they can be worn by anyone.

Product
In producing our apparel, the two main factors we consider are creativity and quality. The designs are originals that cannot be found in a mall. They are not logo-driven so you are more than a walking billboard for us. We strive to project a postive image for Asian Americans and we hope our designs will express something about you. Each shirt is screenprinted and packaged with care and sent off as quickly as our time and inventory allow.

Partners/Social Responsibility
We are committed to partnering with companies that produce high-quality products and who are socially responsible. Most of the shirts we use for screenprinting are American Apparel shirts. This is a brand that’s a leader in high quality apparel that is smoother, softer, and sustainable. And, the employees who make the shirts are treated and compensated fairly helping to promote a higher standard of living. Other distributors we work with are also associated with the FLA (Fair Labor Association), a non-profit organization that promotes adherence to international labor standards and to improve working conditions worldwide.
